E-Song Digital’s ESM960 seems a solid little brick, with nothing much for or against it. Features are a bit sparse, but that doesn’t seem too surprising, all things considered. Anyway, the device supports AVI and SWF (Xvid) videos, unnamed audio files with ID3 tags and lyrics display, and JPEG images.

The ESM960 incorporates a 2.8-inch touchscreen TFT LCD, a speaker and seven EQ settings. It features e-book and gaming functionality, and FM radio capability is an option. A USB 2.0 port and a slot for miniSD cards up to 4GB in capacity are built-in, if you think the internal memory (128MB to 4GB) needs a little stretching. While the dimensions are unknown, the weight is stated as being 57g.
