At long sweet last, Samsung is about ready to release the much-anticipated Blue Wave Firmware update for the P2. The first firmware update allowed you to start transfering files among Samsung PMPs through Bluetooth. This one, however, adds a lot of pretties in terms of GUI enhancements and brand-spanking new features. Among these are an awesome album art viewer, zoom function for videos, ability to tag a song and loop it between the points you set, control of audio playback spee, touch manipulation for the photo viewer, more games, an alarm clock, and more. The most awesome thing about the Blue Wave Firmware update? It’s absolutely FREE when it comes out later this month.
The Samsung P2 costs around $184 and is available at all retail stores.
Check out the leaked video clip of the update to see more of what the firmware update can do.
