We’ve seen Zune discounts before and Zune 8 (8GB) is no exception. Originally selling for $199.99, Zune 8 can be bought online from the Toys R Us site with $20 off. That means, you’ll only pay $179.99. Only the red and the black colors are available.

Discounts is a great way for Zune to compete with Apple’s iPod line of media players.  Zune is a great product that is unlucky to spen its time since birth under iPod’s shadow. With these reduced pricing,  Microsoft may yet claim on being Apple’s competitor in the MP3 player market.
