Tell me, does a digital camcorder cross the line between camcorder to PMP when it’s equipped with portable game console features and music and video playback? The AgfaPhoto DV-5000G is a five-megapixel, 720 x 480 camcorder with a mere 64MB internal memory, so I guess you’ll want to slip in an SD card when you take videos with this thing. The DV-5000G also functions as a games console and is pre-equipped with 20 classic games (Tetris, Blackjack, etc), which you can play on its 3-inch LCD screen. Besides that, you can also use this MP3 and AVI files - and I think it comes with stereo headphones too so you don’t bother the person next to you.
I don’t know about you, but I think camcorders should just stick to being camcorders instead of trying to pretend that they’re PMPs. Maybe I’m just not ready for that sort of technological advancement but seriously - it’s likely that you already have PMPs that can do the games and the AVI-playback thing. What does anyone need these features on a camcorder for, anyway?
