The ruggedest phone in the world is not Casio’s G’zOne, it’s the Apple Phone. Yep, with the kind of punishment the iPhone went through when Kansas native forgot his iPhone on the trunk of his car. “Realizing that his smartphone was missing and remembering where he had set the device roughly five minutes after pulling out of the gas station, the man quickly drove another 15 miles in the wrong direction to the next exit to turn around.”
He spotted the iPhone after half an hour of searching but only managed to retrieve it after an 18-wheeler semi truck rolled over it. That would’ve made the water-proof, dust-proof G’zOne into a pile of plastic and rubber but not the iPhone. Besides having a piece of the bottom part fly off, the rest of the phone was intact. The touch screen was functioning with only a few dead pixels as a reminder of what it went through. The rest of the phone is in 100% condition.
“I slid my finger gently over the answer slide and paused as I held the tattered and torn device to my ear — my heart must have skipped a beat when I heard my mom’s voice at the other end of the phone — the phone still worked!” Presumably, he hasn’t upgraded to firmware 1.1.3 yet.
Cheap and interesting binoculars:

Stupid. So what, he still had to buy a new phone. People get run over (legs, arms, torso) and don’t break.

That’s especially interesting to me, because my friend dropped his on a hardwood floor from about 4 feet, and it laughs at him if he tries to use it.

Whoa, thats strange, my friend also had an iphone, but accidently dropped it in the toiled while he was at it. He said he pulled it up seconds after he dropped it, but now the phone works up to 1 minute if he’s lucky.
But what do I or he know, one person’s experience is probably enough to clearly affirm that the iphone is the toughest cell phone in the world.
Good show.
