Mustek has released some very interesting convergence-minded devices in the past with. The DV300t qualifies as one (the makers are calling it a 6-in-1) but only in the superficial aesthetic sense. The 3.1 megapixel camera has no optical zoom. This is an interpolated resolution from a VGA CMOS lens that captures near-NTSC or PAL (analog TV) quality video. There is an 8x digitl zoom and image stabilizer but that’s about it. The design is candybar and the viewfinder a cellphone-type 2-inch LCD. It’s got cell phone form factor and also PMP functionality: voice recorder, MP3 playback and e-Book reader. I’m sure it will only take a firmware upgrde before it will support video playback. No price announced yet for this 64MB device.
