The iPhone may be announced to three major European countries at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The second wave of European iPhone launch may happen between February 11 and february 14 and may include Spain, Italy and Switzerland
The iPhone has launched in the U.K., France and Germany but other European countries have to (patiently) wait to get their hands on the multi-touch handset. Apple may partner with Telefonica in Spain, Telecom Italy Mobile (TIM) and Swisscom Mobile. Telefonica is the owner of O2 and is Spain’s biggest wireless provider.
