<!--%kramer-ref-pre%-->[...] Coby MP-835 Touch Screen PMPAnother iPod Touch clone? Well, not really. Coby’s MP-835 is unlike previous Coby PMP models. It’s thin-like (52 × 97x10mm) and looks good upright but this is no Apple clone and instead is a dot location away from being another Samsung P2 clone. Whereas this P2 clone from OPPO copies the P2’s cyclops eye putting it on the most logical location dead center at the bottom of the screen, Coby innovates slightly putting it on the top left corner of the player above the screen. The 3-inch screen has 480 × 272 pixels. The 3.5mm jack, a USB 2.0 and microSD slot makes the MP-835 a useful player. The MP3, WMA, OGG, WMV, JPG, BMP, GIF and TXT doesn’t give users much in the way of video playback. It’s available in 2GB and 4GB though no price has been announced. This one has FCC / CE certifications, so watch out for it.(Via PMP Today.) [...]<!--%kramer-ref-post%-->

I think you forgot to copy-and-paste "AVI" from the original article. While you can't tell for sure, odds are good that this will play some sort of mpeg-4 variant.
