   i woundnt buy any more archos products thwey dont back up their customers they are a french company which screws their american customers they wont upgrade the 704 wifi to give us a lousy flash upgrade either their engineers arent competent enough to give us the upgrades the nokia n800 is a better device i have both and nokia is better they give free upgrades i have had my 704 wifi since aug of 07 and have had no upgrades so archos has a habit of making new products and ignoring their so called old ones why do you like archos so much they stink

   if you ask me i wouldnt spend another cent on archos prosucts they cant give me a lousy flash upgrade for the 704 wifi the old saying obce bitten twice smitten aplies to archos they suck nokia n800 is a better product it comes with everything installed and upgrades are free if archos is such a great company why is there no us support i hate french products

   once again another day has gone buy with the hopes of getting a flash upgrade for the 704 WIFI ARCHOS said it was supposed to be its flagship product then they lied to us and made the gen 5 they are a bunch of horible company i hope some day they will bw treated the same way they are ignoring their customers pleas if they are reading these comments archos you suck buyers beware

   Bought one. Sign up and use Google Checkout and you can knock another $10 off, bringing it to $99 with free shipping.

   I like it. Interface is clumsy and takes some getting used to (come on guys, there’s no reason the highlighted item shouldn’t skip to the next row when you press the *forward arrow* as opposed to the *down arrow* key when you’re at the end of the row), but sound and video quality are quite good. It is very solid and mostly metal-encased. Even the enclosed earphones are actually decent.

   There are no scratches or anything on my model to indicate it’s not 100% new. It’s a buy.

   i must be the only one who bought the 704 wifi in america i seem tobe the only one complaining there is still no mentionof the piece of shit maaybeill by the new one thats coming out and watch the gen 5 owners get screwd like the gen 4 owners thenyou all will know how i feel no one cares about the 704 wificustomers it dont exist anymore

   i woundnt wast my money archos does not back up its products ive been waiting 7 months for a flash web browser in my oppinion the engineers dont know how to work two products at the same time

   another day has gone buy archos is giving all the upgrades to its gen 5 customers dont waste your money on any of archos products as soon as the gen 6 comes out they will ignor the gen 5 products you have been warned archos is a bad support company they have no customer support in the usa if you have a problem you have to call france and talk to someone who cant speak english french products suck i was stuck with a usless piece of junk so will you when the gen 6 comes along
