Sony NWZ-A820 Walkman Announced for Europe
19 02 2008The Walkman A810 is one of the most highly rated players of last year, and its successor, the A820 boasts Bluetooth connectivity (which the A810 did not have) and a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, .4-inch more viewing space than its predecessor. The A820 will be available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB versions, so Sony is at least up-to-date in terms of flash storage. The player comes with a 13.5mm EX headphones, which Apple should emulate, and carries support for MP3, AAC, DRM WMA, and linear PCM as well as H.264/ACV and MPEG-4 support. The battery is terrific giving users 10 hours of video and 35 hours of music. It is going to hit in Europe come April in black, silver, pink and gold.
