The Walkman A810 is one of the most highly rated players of last year, and its successor, the A820 boasts Bluetooth connectivity (which the A810 did not have) and a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, .4-inch more viewing space than its predecessor. The A820 will be available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB versions, so Sony is at least up-to-date in terms of flash storage. The player comes with a 13.5mm EX headphones, which Apple should emulate, and carries support for MP3, AAC, DRM WMA, and linear PCM as well as H.264/ACV and MPEG-4 support. The battery is terrific giving users 10 hours of video and 35 hours of music. It is going to hit in Europe come April in black, silver, pink and gold.
