The zzzPhone looks good on paper. The promotional photos don’t look too bad either. The reality, however, is another matter, as Crunch Gear’s John Biggs found out. The customizable phone from a Chinese manufacturer offers the best features at the lowest price starting at $149. It is supposed to run Windows Mobile but John suspects it’s probably Linux. “Their story is compelling but the product looks a little half-baked right now — the hardware isn’t even finalized,” John thinks. I don’t blame him. The photo above shows us a phone that takes a lot from Nokia phone designs, particularly the 6500 Slide but forgot the slide-out keypad. There’s a keypad alright but it’s so small it almost seems like an afterthought.

This is a scam. I ordered a unit more than two months ago. After repeated inquiries and requests for my purchase they sent me a low quality product with the logo ZZZPhone spray painted on it, and the plastic case feels like its goin to break anytime.
In the specs I had the option of including a torchlight, FM, GPS, Wi-fi, and bluetooth. Here is what I got:-
1. Torchlight was stick on.
2. No FM.
3. No Wi-Fi.
3 Bluetooth does not work.
4. GPS software(Navione) was in Chinese.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. IT IS A TOTAL RIPOFF.
