For iPhone users who have been wishing they could get more out of their smart phone in terms of third-party apps, you might want to think about this argument made by Chris Phin of MacFormat: “Jobs told us that it would be launched in February, and Apple has a habit of interpreting ‘month X’ as ‘the last Tuesday of month X’”. The Software Development Kit will allow third party applications on the iPhone. To what extent Apple will allow these outside software to be used on the iPhone is anybody’s guess.
