Last month we showed you a new slim player from Zarva. It’s obviously got the Nano looks going, albeit a generation behind and, as we mentioned, it’s slimmer (88 x 40 x 6.4mm) than Meizu M6 which should matter to people who keep tabs of these things. It retains the original AVI, MP3, WMA and WAV, FLAC, APE (with LRC), JPEG, BMP and TXT support. We have not dwelt much on the video support on this type of gadget, and I mean the type with 1.46-inch display. Just what does it feel like watching MPEG-4 (AVI) movies on that size of screen?
Besides the yuan coin comparison, iMP3 finds the face nice to the touch and the metal backing “easily contaminated with fingerprints, and good clean-up is not so difficult.” This is still 199 yuan device and in today’s exchange rate is still around $28. Price targeted, apparently, for student. See TXT support above.
