Since we’ve heard that XNA Studio games will soon be coming to a Zune near you, we’ve wondered how exactly is the game play going to look like on a Zune. If you’ve seen the old 30GB Zune and the new flash and HD Zunes, you’ll quickly realize that the hardware does not actually support the kind of gaming you are used to. You might have something like this in mind or something like this. Heck, even something like this.

Playing on the Zune will have to be done on the Zunepad for your new Zune and for the old Zune, well, it’s not going to be as smooth. The Zunepad is an omnidirectional controller, which means you do not moving diagonally or in circles is more precise on the Zunepad compared to the four-way controller that we are familiar with. Unfortunately, as Microsoft announces Zune Games really early, we don’t get to preview Zune’s game sharing capabilities and we have no idea in what form the games will come to the Zune. All we know is that Zune, the new flash version, plays a kick-ass Zauri.
