Archos 606 PMP Revealed

The Archos 606 may see the first implementation of SFR’s 3G+ plans for Archos players. The 606 will be the successor of the 605 and will boast the same casing dimensions with 1 to 2 centimeters of screen space added. It’s all black as well and this artist’s impression of the device, if I may say so, not bad looking at all. It’s even prettier than this iPhone2 mockup that we thought would look better with an Archos branding.
Archos 606 will have 30GB of storage. Hopefully it’s not a bad idea for Archos to skip current advances in flash storage. Should it be enough for SFR’s 3G+ plans, here are the possible prices: €14.90, €19.90, and €29.90 a month ($22 to $46), each of which will let you purchase the device for €249, €199, or €149 ($380, $305, or $230), respectively, or you can simply the player without a plan for €290, or about $460.

what good will the gen 6 do us in america it is a french product with a french wireless carrier i hope they concetrate on the gen 6 and ignore the gen 5 like they are ignoring the gen 4 why do they make new products every year when they cant support the gen 4 american customers be warned that archos has a bad track record of us support every time they make a shiny new product the old one which i have is only 8 months old and just as shiny as the other ones they cant even give me a lousy flash upgrade gen 5 your time is up

archos must be retooling for the gen 6 they have not had any upgrades or anything new for almost a month so preety soon you gen 5 customers will be left out in the dark wondering why archos is ignoring you like they ignored the gen 4 they will soon dump the gen 5 too dont get too excited about the gen 6 it will do the us no good it is a french wireless carrier and they will concetrate on europe and screw the us customers like they always do so gen 5 customers your time is up to enjoy the limelight you have been warned

it has been a month since we heard from archos they are retooling for the gen 6 which will be only good in france they are ignoring the us market pretty soon they will drop the gen 5 from its products just like they drop the gen 4 they are a lousy company they cant focus on all their products they cant even give the gen 4 customers a lousy flash upgrade i hope all the gen 5 cus get treated like the gen 4 cust we have gotten zilch from archos im sorry i ever heard the name archos they suck

wake up archos the customers that you are ignoring are looking for upgrades that will never come you killed the gen 4 because your engineers are incompetent they cant give a lousy flash upgrade for the money that we paid for it now the gen 5 seems to be extinct why cant you make all your customers happy you are a terrible underadvanced company you make shiny new objects but aftera while it grows dull when the luster wears off a shiny new one takes its place you are screwing the american people

i told you so archos is now ignoring the gen 5 as well aa the gen 4 i hope all you gen 5 cust get screwed like the gen 4 cust windows xp is betterthanlinux as soon as the gen 6 becomes availible which will only work in france they will work on the gen 7 its better to wait for the new format called wimax which will have windows xp
