Samsung S3, Like a Big-Boned Nano 2

If you’re one of those people pining for the good old days when the iPod Nano was thin, you can now relive those days albeit using another PMP brand. Samsung has just announced, along with their Shuffle beater S2 Pebble, the S3. The screen is 1.8-inches and plays a MPEG-4 videos and unlike the Nano it tunes into FM music. The S3 sells for $130 with 4GB of storage.

It looks like a great player and the Samsung touch keys is a breath of fresh air after all the years of using a clickwheel.

Samsung S3 Slim PMP Specs :

0.4 inches thick, 1.8 ounces and 1.73″ x 3.74″ x 0.39″ in dimensions, the S3 only takes up about the size of a credit card.

JPEG photo viewer, Video player (MPEG4), Music player (MP3, WMA), FM radio and recorder.

25 hours of audio playback and up to 4 hours of video from a single charge of a Li-Poly battery.

4GB of internal flash storage.

Big W in Sydney (Australia) is selling the 2GB for $87. It’s a great deal. I hope that helped someone.
