Pasen F13 PMP Plays DivX, Xvid

New Products

The last Pasen player we’ve heard was the F10 and it plays DivX and Xvid. The new F13 is a brick-like 15mm 11mm, which makes us scratch our heads. There’s nothing truly interesting about the F13. With 3 inches of (400 x 240 pixels) screen real estate, some people wouldn’t mind the extra 8mm. You can play AVI, DIVX, XVID directly, which is priceless. It also supports these video and audio files: RM, RMVB, FLV, DAT, ASF, MP4, WMV, 3GP, MPG, MP3, WMA, WMA / VBR, APE, FLAC, AAC, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, TXT. It also plays games and has SD / SDHC, 8EQ, an FM tuner, and a microphone.

Note: this post was written yesterday before we had some Wordpress problems. Sorry.

    Total knock-off of the original Onda VX757! (not the VX757+)Including the features! Pasen is probably the less original Chinese PMP maker of them all!

    @Ezter
    The same story again and again.
    It’s not a knock off but the same model.
    Pasen is a brand like is Onda.Both doesn’t manuafacture the models.

    @Brian
    There was an error in the size.It has been corrected now.
    It’s much slimmer.

    Yep, same casing but different inside. Pasen likes to introduce improvements from the usual rockchip Chinese manufacturers use.

    According to the Pasen site, it has “built-in games” of an unspecified nature. In addition, the site also mentions that it has “Support for Flash SWF animations and games,” which would seemingly mean both “Flash SWM animations” and “Flash SWF interactive games.” This brief description doesn’t indicate which version of Flash it supports (regular Flash or Flash Lite), but it sounds like it could run user-written Flash programs of some kind written in ActionScript. As mentioned above, whether the “built-in games” use Flash ActionScript or another programming language is not stated.

    Does the model, the one wearing the red hat (Alodia Gosiengfiao) even know her photograph is being used for this?

    Did you ask the model if you could use this picture?
    Because I think you didn’t and that isn’t right in any way.

    Not very nice of you to steal art. Very disappointing, I must say, a serious company like yourselves. Shame on you.

    One of the pictures above (the girl a.k.a Alodia) is used without permission from Alodia G./Tricia. This is supposed to be a serious company but instead you choose to be Art Thieves.

    misa-misa Says:

    you might now be aware of it but what you did is stealing, this form of stealing is very abundant in the online scene but that doesn’t *in any way* justify it, i hope you can make up for this mistake you can get sued even for just using one picture without any permission from the owner.

    To all the Alodia fans:

    I like Alodia’s work too, but I must point out that this is just a review of a product. The real copyright infringer is the product manufacturer. Go send your nasty comments to them: info@pasen.it.

    ghostpicnic Says:

    You did not ask permission for that model picture…

    It’d be understandable if she sold it as stock photograph… except she didn’t.

    You do know that’s how it’s professionally done? Buying stock photographs? Larceny is unappealing for a business…

    Jesus f*cking Christ, people, he just reviewed the product! The real copyright infringers are the product manufacturers!
