Sprint Launches Another “Why Instinct is Better Than iPhone” Video

Phone

The Sprint Instinct has one more feature that puts it ahead of the iPhone… Speech to Action. On the right of the Instinct you have a button. Hold it down to command the phone to give you the news, the weather, the directions or to call someone in your contact list. This isn’t as fancy as it sounds. I can think of several scenarios in my day-to-day wherein a Speech to Action button on my phone would’ve been a godsend. Driving, cooking, giving your kid a bath… this isn’t just some fancy schmancy button. It’s an enabler for pathological multitaskers.[via phonearena]

Can someone give me an idea whether or not I should go for a smart phone or just use a more stylish phone and wait for some better technology? I am on the Sprint network, and was referred to http://www.sanyowireless.com , but I’m not seeing any options that look like smart phones. I don’t need an MP3 player or a camera, I’d rather have a phone that is lighter and easier to carry. Any recommendations would be welcome.
