The Cect HiPhone is the most popular iPhone clone brand right now but a pretender has just arrived that might be able to successfully challenge its dominance. For one thing, the SciPhone model i68 is pretty damn close hardware-wise to what the iPhone looks like. The photo you see above is no ordinary rendering; that is actually what the phone looks like. Specs of the Sciphone (pronounced Sky Phone) include a quadband GSM connectivity, 3.2-inch touchscreen with both finger and stylus input, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth (!!), Fm tuner and a G-Sensor for flick navigation. The demo video below shows only a changing of wallpapers when the Sciphone is flicked but it should also be able to change track by flicking.

The sci phone hs been selling in Shanghai as n iphone. I wonder how many people have been caught. The booklet says o download the manual from Apple. How many of the operations are the same? It was sold as a 3G but I doubt that it is.

Does anyone know how to set up the internet and e-mail on the sci-phone? At&t tells me they can not help me because the phone was bought from over seas and is not supported by at&t. I purchased the phone on ebay from a phone dealer from China.

How do I upload music to my sciphone i68? I’m also finding that mine will not let me know whether it is charging or not. I’m not sure if I have a bad charging cable or what. Also I bought mine on ebay from China, TMobile helped me with the settings for the internet.

I have a sciphone i68 the sound quality is horrible!!! I have finally got the phone were I can recieve mms messages thru at&t. The internet however is useless because I cannot read chinese!!! All the web pages are 80% in cinese! I cannot acess my email which is aol thru it. Can anyone help? I would not suggest buying one of these phones if you live in the U.S. they are not worth 10 cents!!!!!

i got thesame phone from ebay from china. it works great u just have to know how to chan ge the different settings for WAP, txt messaging and internet service. u cant download ringtones.
1- Main Menu click on Entertainment then click on Services
2- Click on Data Account–> click on GPRS
3- Choose any account–> click on Edit
4- 1- Account Name

leave it blank

5- Auth. Type

Does anyone know how to put music on the i68+? I just got this stupid phone a week ago, and every time I try to put music it on it tells me there is “not enough free space.” But, I have nothing on it! Any help would be much, much appreciated. I just went online to ChinaGrabber last night and purchased the D990i. Can the memory be expanded; is there a slot for a memory card? I notice that specs indicated that it comes with 1GB but expandable to 2GB.

Ok guys, I’ve had this phone for a month. I had alot of the same problems you guys had…couldn’t get the internet up…istant msg failures and not getting my SDmemory to work. There are a few sites, I’m sorry I don’t have the links, found em late at night. There are sites that will help you set it up. It’s all in the settings. I had to go to engineering mode for the instant msgs. I know its frustrating, but once you get everything working this phone is awesome. It’s hard making a phone that works right for as many networks as this phone can use.
PS I have AT&T and don’t let them tell you stuff won’t work because you bought it overseas. That’s nonsense. Ask for a service refund if they won’t help, it’s their job!
