The Cect HiPhone is the most popular iPhone clone brand right now but a pretender has just arrived that might be able to successfully challenge its dominance. For one thing, the SciPhone model i68 is pretty damn close hardware-wise to what the iPhone looks like. The photo you see above is no ordinary rendering; that is actually what the phone looks like. For a more realistic view, you can watch the video after the break.
Specs of the Sciphone (pronounced Sky Phone) include a quadband GSM connectivity, 3.2-inch touchscreen with both finger and stylus input, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth (!!), Fm tuner and a G-Sensor for flick navigation. The demo video below shows only a changing of wallpapers when the Sciphone is flicked but it should also be able to change track by flicking.

when ever I get an sms it just gives me the number of the person that sent it with +44 in front but not the actual person name so I can never tell who the SMS is from. How can I change this?
March 16th, 2009 at 9:16 pm
Hey mate.. its because its using the international sms code.. you have to edit the fone number in your fone book to include the +44 (then take out the 0) in the fone number..
try that
March 17th, 2009 at 5:01 pm
Wait what do you have to do cuz i have the same problem

Does anyone know how to delete the factory ringtones so that i can put more than 5 songs on the ringtone list? This is the only issue i’m having with my phone. Also does anyone no how to remove songs from the ringtone list because it just says full how can i replace them?
March 19th, 2009 at 11:30 pm
The phone recognizes country codes so on some of my phone numbers i had to go back and put a 1 in front of them so the phone would recognize the person with the number.

March 20th, 2009 at 9:49 am
Just buy a Iphone cheap skates
March 20th, 2009 at 8:06 pm
regarding the country code ocming across and nothing else I never found a real solution to this problem, using a variety of smartphones, Q, e61, etc. What I do is have two numbers associated with the individual in my address book, one with the country code and one without. Which ever way it conmes thorugh depending on where you are, the adress boook should report the correct person.

What all would you like to be in a manual? Give me some questions and I might consider typing one up for you. For my name to be in the publish as a co-author and some money a certain percentage of money if you choose to persue selling it. LOL.
Had to get that out the way. I bought a i68+ off ebay and had the same problems that you may be experiencing.

OK. Now that I have address the main feature issues. I’m answer some more until I feel tired I guess or decide to stop being helpful.
1 - The security code should be either: 1122 or 1111 or 0000
2 - The phone only supports MP4 & 3GP video formats. SO you will need a convert to concert other video formats. You can conect the phone to your PC and drag and drop the correct video files into the video folder.
3 - For music the formats are MP3 I am not 100% certain if any other file types are supported. But you would place the MP3 songs into the MP3 folder when it is connect to the PC. You can also use these songs as ringtones.
3 - With Bluetooth songs from one phone to another: Open Documents (On your phone) > Select Memory Card > Select MP3 > (When you have found the sound of choice to send) Select Options > Select Forward > Select To Bluetooth > (Bluetooth has to be on) Find desired phone > and sned your file.
4 - I have downloaded some JAVA apps from (http://www.getjar.com/) but for some websites application you my need to go to there websites & it is also better to use an iPhone app. other than another phone app.
5 - If you phone slows down alot or becomes unresponsive do a Pen Calibration
(Settings > Pen Calibration) The battery life sucks on this phone can’t help you there.
