The Cect HiPhone is the most popular iPhone clone brand right now but a pretender has just arrived that might be able to successfully challenge its dominance. For one thing, the SciPhone model i68 is pretty damn close hardware-wise to what the iPhone looks like. The photo you see above is no ordinary rendering; that is actually what the phone looks like. For a more realistic view, you can watch the video after the break.
Specs of the Sciphone (pronounced Sky Phone) include a quadband GSM connectivity, 3.2-inch touchscreen with both finger and stylus input, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth (!!), Fm tuner and a G-Sensor for flick navigation. The demo video below shows only a changing of wallpapers when the Sciphone is flicked but it should also be able to change track by flicking.

ok, to put music on your i68 phone plug in your usb cable - now select mass storage on your phone-
then when the auto play window appears on your computer screen select “open folder to view files”
from there select music or what ever file you keep your music - then simply drag songs to the music folder on the left hand side of the screen. its pretty easy- hope this helps

if any one could help me with my sciphone
it refuse to play mp4 format and all the time it keeps telling me (invalid format) eventhough i used many different converter programs to make it work but without any result.
and same songs format i used with nokia5800 and it works without any problem,
any one could help me if there is java codecs or player should be installed or what i have to do.

Solution to the white screen problem or “white screen of death” mentioned by IslandBoi (Comment 68) - same as for Iphone. Perform a hard reset. For Sciphone, this entails leaving the phone on while removing the battery, then waiting at least a minute or so before replacing it. Good luck.

I did a lot of research on how to tell if the sciphone is a fake or not..this one seems to be the real deal and they ship from california which i like…anyway, i paid $85 which i thought was pretty good. We have tmobile and when i asked them if this phone was compatible.they said yep no problem…hope that helps.

FYI- this phone is not automatically set for internet for AT&T users. You must manually set the settings. You can do a search on youtube and be walked through the process. I received mine in the mail yesterday, and am pretty pleased. Calls,internet,and text messaging work fine. The Sciphone 198, is a piece of junk. plain and simple. I bought it thinking i would get something like an apple iphone, and physically it looks just like one, but trust me the thing is literally junk. It is NOTHING like the i-phone you can not get ANY apple applications on the phone the setup is completely 100% different. You cant turn it sideways and make it a big keyboard. The texting is impossible without the stylus[ the little pen], you have to setup EVERYTHING, and that is VERY complicated. The internet, the texting, and the picture messanging. I had a problems with getting the time correct, getting the alarm correct, turning the volume down, changing the ringtones, getting anything onto the phone at all, figuring out the games. None of that i could figure out. Also you need to go buy yourself a memory card , because the memory on the phone holds nothing. All in all I couldnt figure anything out, and I had to send the phone back for a refund, I told the guy the day I recieved it I wanted a refund, and he charged me for the shipping fees, and restocking fees and i lost 30 dollars for absolutely nothing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE BUY THIS PHONE. I BELIEVE IT IS A MAJOR SCAM. You are better off buying the real thing. Any phone in the world would be easier to use then this.

I got the 3G Sciphone i68 since April and it works pretty well. It is just a lookalike to iphone and has its own problems. The thing is that most of you wanted the iphone. If you want the iphone plz pay for it. It took me a few weeks to learn how to use this phone and now I like it. The guy who can’t play mp4 movies should change his media player to read from memory instead from phone. The guy who wants vibration should select “Meeting” profile instead of “General”. You need some patience to get to know the phone better. The guy whose original menu is in chinese should ask for help online or contact the nearest chinese restaurant for help. This is unusual since the default menu comes in English. Others should contact “Jailbreakers” for additional games and to remove all the chinese games and stuff they don’t need. There are so many good advices on blogs and those complaining are either too lazy to check or think this is an iphone which is not. It is a pity that some people got malfunctioning devices. They should be refunded.
