The Cect HiPhone is the most popular iPhone clone brand right now but a pretender has just arrived that might be able to successfully challenge its dominance. For one thing, the SciPhone model i68 is pretty damn close hardware-wise to what the iPhone looks like. The photo you see above is no ordinary rendering; that is actually what the phone looks like. Specs of the Sciphone (pronounced Sky Phone) include a quadband GSM connectivity, 3.2-inch touchscreen with both finger and stylus input, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth (!!), Fm tuner and a G-Sensor for flick navigation. The demo video below shows only a changing of wallpapers when the Sciphone is flicked but it should also be able to change track by flicking.

i just got my i68 and evrything has been working fine, but now everytime the phone switches to the lock mode a message keeps popping saying: a new time zone has been discovered do you want to change your time zone. i have answered yes & no to it and it keeps popping up everytime my phone locks can anyone help me get rid of this message?

go into settings then into phone setup, and #8 Is auto update of date and time,
just turn it off and it will stop. I know because I too just got my phone and it
was doing the same thing

hi i have the sciphone 68+ on o2 uk, i have entered all the mms and gprs settings but when i try to acces the internet it says invalid gateway IP??? i have looked all through the phone and cannot find anywere to but or chane this???? please help, i only baught this dam phone to use on the internet!

I am having problems with the new Sciphone i68 I just got from ebay.
1.The battery holds only for a day. How long should i keep the battery on charge?
2.I can hear people perfectly, but they can barely hear me I have to literally talk into the bottom of the phone.

Try the following:-
1- Main Menu click on Entertainment (Front page) then click on Services
2- Click on Data Account–> click on GPRS
3- Choose any account–> click on Edit
4- (1)- Account Name = O2
(2) APN = wap.02.co.uk
(3) User Name = o2wap
(4) Password = password
(5) Auth. Type = Normal
Alternative info:-
APN = wap.02.co.uk
USER = o2wap
PASSWORD = password
HOMEPAGE = http://wap.02.co.uk
PROXY = 193.113.200.195
PORT = 9201 if this prot fails try 8080

In the menus, when i click on an icon for a longer time, they start shaking and i can resort them. But how do i save the new arrangement? The shaking does not stop and if i press the Home button, the arrangement goes back to what it was before.

I have the same phone I crack my touch screen a couple of days ago now I can not enter pass the slide to unlock since the touch screen is not working … I can only get call I am not able to make call are to get to my contact listing I am not able to text and check tecting since the touch screen is not working …

This is for the ones that do not know how to set up there internet and SMS & MMS it should have come with the disc that come with you phone .. insert in to your Drive open the drive you will see Internet and MMS setting click open that you will see ATT 1st scroll down to you see T-Mobile Setting you have to follow all instruction in oreder are it will not work for you..
After you have did all the setting make sure you save I had to do this twice before I got it right … Below is the instruction..

You have to add +1 in front of all you contact numbers to see the name and not the number only for any text message I hope this help you guys ….

For the internet with AT&T, go to http://gr8er1.com/shop/page/2?shop_param= This is a great tutorial on how to set up your internet and MMS on your Sciphone I68/I9 3G. Also has alot more tutorials for this phone. Hope this helps some people out. I would recommend getting the internet plan on your phone before doing this. the bill can get racked up alot!

I also forgot, people with T-mobile. for setting up your internet, Call T-mobile and ask for the Unsupported phones Department and tell them what phone you have. They should be able to walk you through setting up your phone.

finally got the phone, but I think it’s a knock-off. When I dialed *#8375* to check its authenticity I get the message “cannot connect” (I also tried *#0000# but all that did was display “changed default language”). Grrrrrr! Any suggestions?

Has anyone actually downloaded some of the free games/apps (offered on this site) onto their sciphone? I want to download, but I’m afraid it’ll screw up my phone.
Also how do you download? Do you download the apps to your computer first then transfer it to phone or connect phone to computer and download it directly to phone file?
One more thing (sorry) in the manual it says “Turn off your phone before you want to download MP3 or movies to your phone.” Why do you have to turn your phone off? I never had to do that with my nokia. Needless to say, the phone won’t read the music from my sim card and I even formatted it…ugh

I think the i68 does NOT work with 3G, but the i68+ does. You also have to reconfig the browser (see website on Answer 340). Don’t know if that’ll help or not
