Gemei X780 Touch Screen PMP Unveiled

Gemei has an exciting new PMP that is about to be released. The serial number comes after this gaming PMP, but the X780 has little in common with the X760. The X780 also represents Gemei’s first dip into the iPhone cloning business. The company has been specializing in PMP-emulation devices like the X900 and the X590 among others and had little time to join the Apple-imitation bandwagon until now. Their first try is a boxy 3-inch WQVGA PMP with TV out, FM tuner and support for multiple files:

Video: RM, RMVB, FLV, AVI, MPG, MPEG, DAT , ASF, WMV, VOB, 3PG, MP4

Apparently, this one has no gaming support. The price is not available yet. More photos after the break (see how boxy it is).

Are you sure that this is a touch screen PMP? It has quite a number of buttons on the top face and the master button on the front that would make me think that it isn’t.
