You can’t get more luxurious in the PMP world than COWON’s new 5-inch P5. It’s a 800×480-pixel touchscreen player with UI support for Widget and Haptics, T-DMB and Bluetooth. No WiFi, though, and for Koreans this is not a problem but it does allow USB WiFi. It’s an HDD player with 40GB, 60GB and 80GB versions available. File support includes WMV, MPG, OGM, DivX, Xvid, MPEG4, WMV9, AVI, ASF, MP3, WMA, AC3 and with the RMI Alchemy AU1250 700Mhz CPU, you won;t have any problem playing video files perfectly on the P5. The COWON P5 comes in black, platinum and red and will be released July 29 in Korea.
Other specs of the COWON P5: AVdic + Dictionary, plays 9 hours of video and hairline metal body should feel fantastic to the hands.

Ok, I keep reading that the P5 has Haptic Control. Haptic usually implies some kind of non-visual feedback. On a product like this with one giant touch screen, haptic would make me think that it either vibrates to the touch of the touchscreen or perhaps just emits some kind of sound. Does anyone have any insight into this?

I think if it gives palpable resistance to the finger - that Haptics is ideal.

Hi friends
i have a serious problem. My junior brother played with my COWON P5 60 GB and infortunately delete some importants file. So today i can only run the operative system. But i cant no more load COWON LAUNCHER.
I dowloaded the firmware but it’s impossible to run it.
Please i need the original source so that i will delete all the system and program files folders to set the new one.
