It made a controversial appearance in the AppStore in the middle of the week, was unceremoniously removed after just after a day (or even less), made a return today, and now is gone again. The tethering app NetShare from Nullriver allows you to share the 3G/EDGE connection of your iPhone by creating an ad-hoc network for others to connect to. Connecting to it may seem a bit too technical for some, but its all a matter of configuring your browser to connect using SOCKS proxy. Macrumors has detailed instructions on how to make it work for Windows XP, Safari, and FireFox/Camino. While its currently unavailable at the moment, something tells me we won’t be seeing the last of NetShare.
