iPhone 2.0.1 update

Apple has just released update 2.0.1 for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It’s a pretty huge file topping off at 249MB, but it’s worth it, especially if you’re an iPhone owner. Many are pleased with this latest update as it not only manages to update the firmware without deleting the media content, but more importantly, it fixes the numerous bugs and problems 2.0 users were experiencing. It also allows for faster syncing and ha a snappier response time.

Unfortunately, the current Pwnage tool doesn’t work on it, but with the numerous free apps in the App Store and the lack of 3rd party apps available for Cydia, I highly doubt anyway will be missing it for now.
