It’s now official! Lenovo has joined the netbook bandwagon with the release of the IdeaPad S9 and S10. Both models will feature an Intel Atom processor with 1GB of RAM. The S9 will showcase an 8.9-inch display, an 8GB SSD drive and Linux OS. The S10, on the other hand, will come with a 10.2-inch screen, 80GB HDD and Win XP OS. Based on the pictures, we like what we see. There’s pretty ample ventilation for heat to escape, the keyboard is decently sized and we love the detail they put into it.
More pictures after the break.

However, the price is a bit of concern as they report that the SRP is 12,900 and 17,900 Yuan for the S9 and S10 respectively. That’s a bit too expensive if they want compete with the likes of Asus. Anyway, we’ll wait for the international release in Septmeber before we comment any further on its price.
There’s more pictures from our source so you might want to head on over there if you want to see more of this upcoming mini-laptop.
