Just as the title states, QuickPwn is the fastest and easiest way to Pwn your iPhone/iPod Touch without having to go through the tedious process of a full restore through iTunes. However, it’s currently limited to Windows and firmware 2.0.1. Those who are on another OS or have already upgraded to 2.0.2 will have to wait for the next version to come out. Those on 2.0 but don’t want to upgrade to 2.0.1, there’s still the old method you can use.
QuickPwn is still in a beta phase and will need the full Pwn tool installed for it to work. While originally it didn’t feature a GUI, poorlad managed to create one for everyone’s enjoyment. Unlocking, unfortunately, still isn’t supported. Want to try it out? Download it here.
Overall, despite the many limiteations, this is a welcome development as the old process was very cumbersome and time-consuming to say the least. Hopefully, when the next version comes out, it’ll support for various firmware and be a stand-alone app as well. Great job guys, keep it coming!
