ONDA has a spanking new touch screen PMP in the works. The photo above indicates an Apple-like user interface using a Macbook-style dock system. The VX525 UI will be Flash based and looks sweet enough for a little Apple-like hype. Chip manufacturer Actions (they’ve made all these iPod Touch and iPhone clones possible) will have a special processor ready for the VX525 and it will be far better than the best Rockchip in the market.

From the looks of this, it seems that Onda is still into making their products look like the iPhone. It looks like their new interface is trying to even work like the iPhone a little bit. The screen pics may be the typical pre-release marketing images that look nothing like the finished product. I would wait to see what the real thing looks like before making any judgement.
The fact that the UI is FLASH based opens a whole host of users to customize the UI better than ever before.
I’m really curious to hear about this new Actions chip that is supposedly better than the Rockchip 2706 and Ingenic JZ47xx that Onda’s OEM uses. Does anyone have any information about this?
