I guess Asus has more to offer than just its mini P552w touchscreen phone. Leaked pictures show a vey sleek and sophisticated looking Asus Glaxy7 which looks like a splitting image of the Samsung Omnia from a distance. Nevertheless, the Glaxy7 looks more poised to take on the iPhone than its smaller sibling, the P552w. Some of its more notable specs include a 3.5-inch WVGA 65L TFT touchscreen display, 5-megapixel camera, trackball navigation, 3G/HSDPA, WiFi, 4GB internal memory and runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. Expected launch date is October though we have yet to receive official word from Asus about the Glaxy7.

More picture after the break.
With so many developments happening on the hardware end, I wonder when the Windows Mobile OS will get a major upgrade. It seems that the only thing holding back these fine mobile machinery from achieving further greatness is the software, so when will Microsoft finally step-up to the plate and make Windows Mobile 7 available?
