New Products, Phone

What we have here folks are some live pics of the upcoming LG KC910 Renoir. This is the successor of the LG Viewty and, like its predecessor, comes with a massive camera and a huge touchscreen display. The LG Renoir features an 8-megapixel camera complemented by Schneider-Kreuznach lens and a Xenon flash, a large 3-inch 240×400 WQVGA touchscreen, A-GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, and 3G/HSDPA connectivity. Very exciting specs indeed, but we have yet to hear about its OS and availability date.

More details and pics after the break.

Its similarity to the iPhone in terms of design, however, is a bit of a turn off for me. I think by now mobile phone manufacturers should have gotten over the whole iPhone-imitation stage and come up with their own unique design to offer consumers. Look at what HTC did with their Touch HD, why can’t LG do the same with the Renoir?
