Asus Eee PC/ mini notebook

Packard Bell has officially jumped into the netbook market with its cutely named “dot” netbook. It’s not the most unique mini-laptop despite the name. The 8.9-inch 1024 x 60-pixel screen, 1GB RAM and 160GB hard drive outs it in direct competition with just about all the recent outings in its category. In fact, you can’t help but notice how much the “dot” resembles Acer’s Aspire One. The “dot” ups the ante somewhat with a 6-cell battery, 3G option and an exclusively XP OS. Price tag is smarting at €399 or $580.
