Nokia will be unveiling the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic October 3 or October 2, afterwhich the world will be wondering whether a mid-range touchscreen smartphone is the way to go. The official pic are already out and it’s comforting to see Nokia starts this one with their trademark aubergine (eggplant) color. I like the color but I’m sure Nokia will offer the 5800 in other colors as well. Unwiredreview has the scoop. They have also neatly wrote down the complete specs as well:

OS is Symbian S60 Taco 5 OS, quadband GSM with HSDPA connectivity and WiFi, A-GPS and a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera and an accompanying LED flash. No pricing yet but we’re pretty sure it’ll come free in some European carriers.
