I apologize for the awkward title but we’ve been noticing lately how some PNDs and UMPCs fit the needs of individuals looking for a versatile portable entertainment device. The Porient H12 is the successor of the H9. What it brings to the table in the UMPC category is awesome portability without cutting back on features. The H12 has WiFi, DAB/DBV-H/DVB-T support and GPS. Screen size has been shrunk to a 4.8-inch screen (it’s a touchscreen, of course) with a crisp 800 × 480-pixel resolution. From the photo above, you could tell it specializes in web surfing as well. The 520MHz Intel XScale PXA270 processor may disappoint somewhat if what you’re looking for is more of in the netbook category, though Soft Office comes preloaded.
