Remember the LG KP500 we reported a while back? Yeah, that affordable touchscreen phone that we have yet to hear confirmation about its further specs, price and release date. Well, there have been some news that has leaked into cyberspace and we now know that it’s being called the Cookie. We don’t know why such a quirky sounding name was chosen, but hey, that’s the least of our concerns. Some measurements have also surfaced indicating that it’ll be a mere 11.9mm thick and will support both landscape-mode onscreen QWERTY typing and widgets. The release date is still up in the air, but a rumored price of around 170 Euros or almost $230 has been thrown into the picture and that’s still excludes carrier subsidies. I guess they weren’t kidding when they said it was affordable, but I wonder how its performance will live up to expectation.
