Do you love that Qik application that runs on a jailbroken iPhone but can’t afford to own an iPhone?
Well, here’s some good news for you. Makers of Qik have just announced that their video app is now supporting smartphones as well as J2ME phones. Included in the first batch of non-iPhone units the alpha version of the Qik video is now supporting are the following:
Nokia S40 Phones:
- Nokia 5300
- Nokia 6300
- Nokia 6500 classic
- Nokia 6500 slide
- Nokia 6555
- Nokia 8800 Arte
Sony Ericsson JP-8 Phones:
- Sony Ericsson K850
- Sony Ericsson K858
- Sony Ericsson W890
- Sony Ericsson W910
- Sony Ericsson W908
- Sony Ericsson K660
- Sony Ericsson G502
- Sony Ericsson Z750
This list isn’t finall by any stretch and they are looking for Nokia owners who are likewise willing to be alpha testers for other iterations of the application. Interested? This is your opportunity to be one of the first ones to showcase the Qik app on your Nokia phone even if its just for testing purposes.
