We’ve overlooked the $20 slotMusic and player from Sandisk because it’s not really what we’re looking for here at PMP Today. The idea for slorMusic is simple: a microSD card preloaded with music for $15 a pop. If you remember buying CDs, or if you still do, Sandisk is offering a better alternative. Sandisk believes that people would be more than happy to do away with their computers and stay away from WiFi and the Web altogether and opt for slotMusic. The preloaded microSD will fit in any device that takes microSDs, including your cellphones. Collecting slotMusic cards with binders Sandisk will likely sell separately. And oh, they’ve come out with a player for the slotMusic that’s only $5 ricier than the Hacha PF02. So what do you think, with major music labels signed up already does Sandisk have a moneymaker here?
