iPhone 2.2 beta 2 out now for Developers, Google Maps Street View included

Apple iPhone, Software

iPhone 2.2 beta 2 has just be released for developers and one of its highlight features is the inclusion of street view in Google Maps. Yeah, its cool, but I don’t think it will be appreciated that much by a whole lot of users as opposed to landscape-mode e-mail typing and cut/copy & paste. If not for anything else, this new update will also signify that a new jailbreak would be needed in the near future for those still interested in hacking their iPhone. For now, though, we can only hope for some practical features that many have been clamoring for will land in this future firmware release.
