Still wondering whether the iPhone is worth the hassle for wireless providers. A recent report from the iPhone 3G Canadian distributor puts the question at rest. Though Rogers has earlier been criticized for having one of the most expensive iPhone contracts in the globe, it didn’t stop Canadian customers from lining up. Since Rogers made iPhone 3G available, 225,000 have opted for the iPhone translating into 191,000 new clients for the Canadian wireless provider. Lower subscriptions from rivals Bell and Telus were also confirmed.
Rogers is the only GSM provider in Canada.
