XPERIA X1 Delays due to Manufacturing Problems

Tue, Nov 4, 2008

Industry News, Mobile Phone

The demand is there, but apparently, manufacturing delays have hampered the sales of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1. Sweden, Germany and the UK are said to be the most affected by the current situation according to IDG News. However, we can’t help but wonder why other countries such as the Philippines who were supposed to receive theirs way back in September 30, still haven’t been blessed with the XPERIA X1. Could it be because of the said delays?

Sony Ericsson officials, however, reassure that more XPERIA X1 units are on the way, and they are, in fact, on target to make a debut in the US this month. Yeah right. We’ll believe them once we see it official and out in the market already. As far as the Philippines is concerned, the release date of the XPERIA X1 which was previously announced to be November 14 has now further been delayed to November 28. How much longer will we have to wait to get our hands on an XPERIA X1?
