iPhone Dev Team Jailbreak Firmware 2.2 Before its Released

Thu, Nov 6, 2008

Apple iPhone, Software

We knew that the iPhone Dev Team could get the job done and get it done fast has always been their trademark, but jailbreaking firmware 2.2 even before it’s released is insane. Anyway, this new jailbreak isn’t out yet primarily because the firmware it’s supposed to crack hasn’t been released either. This just goes to show that nothing impossible for the determine souls that give life to the jailbreak movement which is the iPhone Dev Team. So, will Apple still release 2.2 knowing that a jailbreak is just waiting around the corner to pounce on it? That, my friends is what we will all have to wait and see.

Apple sucks big time! I want a phone that is open and free for me to configure. I bought it so basically I should have control over it and not Apple have control over me. Apple is beginning to become like Microsoft.
