iPhone Voice-recognition enabled Google Mobile app now Available

The updated Google Mobile app which features voice recognition is now finally available. You can download it through the App Store and it’s compatible with both the iPhone and iPod Touch though the voice-recognition feature only works on the iPhone. The video above shows you how easy it is to use the voice-based search of the Google Mobile app and the other new features this latest iteration comes with. So as you can see in the demo, you don’t necessarily have to ask a question to perform a search and, unlike other voice-based commands in other phones, you don’t have to press anything on the iPhone to enable voice-command. It’s pretty impressive and this should open up the doors for more voice-based applications in the near future. With the iPhone getting first dibs on this latest version, I wonder when this new Google Mobile app will become available for the Android.
