Mobile Phone

If you’re wondering how well the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic performs, then this set of videos created by MobileBurn is just what the doctor recommends. They’ve managed to play around with a pre-production model to give us less-fortunate techies a glimpse into what Nokia’s first full touchscreen device will bring to the table. That being said, we can more or less expect a more polished version when it hits the market. Over-all, they were pretty satisfied with it. The touch implementation on the S60 OS was pretty snappy and refreshing change from the usual touch UI. The web browser works pretty well and WiFi is fast.

They, however, noted that onscreen keyboard options could use some improvement and the phone itself felt somewhat hollow and plasticky, but I guess this will just be a matter of preference. Anyway, enough of the small talk, we’ll let you be the judge with these videos if indeed the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is something to watch out for.
