True to their word, Nokia has launched the 5800 XpressMusic in Taiwan as part of the limited number of countries who will get to receive the company’s first full touchscreen phone this year. Unfortunately, like Spain and Russia, it also comes with heftier price as opposed to what was announced when it made its debut. It’ll retail for NT$14,900 or roughly $446 USD. We’re guessing it’ll also be bundled with some sort of free subscription or voucher though no details were given as to what will be included in the package. On a similar note, word is that Nokia will be launching a Taiwanese version of the Nokia Music Store, Comes with Music service and a Chinese version of Ovi in 2009. Those are some nice treats to look forward to next year, but the question is; with the current price of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic being a lot more expensive than expected, is it worth buying now with all the bells and whistles attached, or are you guys willing to wait for next year when they finally decide to sell for the handset-only price?
