The LG Cookie, formerly known as the LG KP500, has arrived in the Philippines with a very attractive price of just P11,900. If you can remember, when the LG Cookie was introduced, it was touted as being one of the most affordable touchscreen devices to be released in the market, and with its pricing in the Philippines, it just goes to show that they we’re kidding at all. The LG Cookie is the first and most affordable full touchscreen device to ever become available in the local industry. It doesn’t come with WiFi and 3G connectivity, but it does come with a 3-megapixel camera and a feature-set that should suffice for the average mobile phone user. More importantly, because of its low price, it provides consumers with a viable option when it comes to purchasing a full touchscreen device.

I highly doubt that LG Cookie will be able to attract “true” iPhone users to its side. I do strongly feel, however, that those who have a craving for a touchscreen phone but have no other option than the iPhone will now think twice before making any hasty purchases.

B would be right there are instances that the phone would reboot and yeah you know it, “restore to factory settings” hell yeah! almost threw the damn thing. but on the brighter side price to service ratio… not bad a deal… lets qoute the review shall we “It doesn’t come with WiFi and 3G connectivity, but it does come with a 3-megapixel camera and a feature-set that should suffice for the AVERAGE mobile phone user”… get the picture?! ^_^

I don’t feel any strike in this model, just like an ordinary touchscreen. On the contrary,
the company is LG and seems that it is probably cool in the market.

The bottom line is that the KP500 is certainly no iPhone, but if a touchscreen is top of your feature list, it offers a relatively competent experience. There’s an on-screen Qwerty keypad, handwriting recognition and an automatically rotating screen — nothing revolutionary, but more than you get on most pay as you go phones. my brother who came from UK bought me cookie for only 109 pounds, it only cost 7600 pesos………….. The price is way cheaper there. Its affordable plus the features can satisfy techy users. Of course its not as glamorous as the I phone duh????????????? compare the price but I have to say that with its cheap price Im sure it will satisfy and surpass your expectations of a phone that only costs an affordable amount
