QiGi i6 offers Windows Mobile, Android OS options

China is probably known in the mobile phone industry as country that comes out with the most number of imitation phones, but this latest handset phone, puts a different twist to it. The QiGi i6 may look every bit like the HTC Touch on the outside, but unlike the original, you can have this baby in either Windows Mobile or Android flavor. Yup, that’s right. OS options are now included in mobile phones. Well, that’s as far as this particular phone is concerned. The QiGi i6 also comes with a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, 2megapixel camera, 624MHz processor, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and support for microSD cards of up to 4GB in storage capacity. The design may not be so original, but their marketing approach is definitely a first. Anyway, if things turn out well for the iPhone Dev Team and their new venture, we might one day see an iPhone running Linux as well.
