We already know that there are at least 10,000 applications ready for download in the App Store, but how many users have actually downloaded stuff from it? Well, according to Apple, over 300M downloads have been recorded since the App Store was launched. How remarkable is this? Less than three months ago, the company said they were on track to reach the 200M mark. It’s obvious that they’ve already surpassed that goal and there are no signs showing of any slowdown anytime soon despite the global economic crisis. With the App Store proving to be such a successful avenue for selling and downloading applications, it doesn’t come as a surprise anymore if more people are shunning the dark side and completely giving up jailbreaking.
