First 8-megapixel camera phone in the US: Can this be it?

Mon, Dec 8, 2008

Mobile Phone, Rumors

There’s still no certainty that this photo and bit of news is actually legit, but if it proves to be true, then what you’re looking at could possibly well be the first 8-megapixel phone to debut in the US. Based on the provided info, it’s going to be sold under the T-Mobile brand and looks to be like a US version of the Samsung M8800 Pixon. If it is indeed the Pixon, that’s a pretty decent and very capable camera phone to kick off the 8-megapixel onslaught in North America. As usual, take this latest news with a grain of salt as nothing’s definite yet until we hear an official announcement from the concerned parties.
