Industry News, Mobile Phone

It now looks like the Pixon is really headed for the US as it has just hit the FCC and is now known as the Samsung M8800L. It’s basically the same as the European version but comes with US 3G (850, 1900MHz WCDMA) connectivity which suggests that it’ll most likely be made available on AT&T. This latest news likewise debunks rumors circulating that T-Mobile might be launching this mobile camera wonder phone, but hey, if they’ve got a completely different model tucked away in their secret vault of handset phones, we’re more than willing to accept it especially if it’s also an 8-megapixel camera phone. I guess for now, AT&T can likewise be considered in the running as one of the carriers to offer the first 8-megapixel camera phone in the US as well.
